Explore what mobile augmented reality (AR) is and how it can be leveraged in education to support teaching and learning. As mobile devices proliferate, more and more people have access to mobile computing, which presents possibilities for layering information over the world. Layering 3D objects, text, audio, and video over the reality perceived by the user makes augmented reality a powerful tool for teaching and learning. While has been around for some time, the proliferation of mobile devices means that AR has gone mobile!
